Rossini: Ouverture, Il Barbiere di Siviglia
Paganini: Violin concerto no. 1
Shostakovich: Symphony no. 9

Vladimir Ziva, conductor
Sergey Krylov, violin

South Jutland Symphony Orchestra was the first Danish orchestra to invite the Russian-Italian violin virtuoso Sergey Krylov, and he has been repeatedly re-invited, not only by us, but by other Danish orchestras as well. His brilliant interpretations and fiery style has captivated audiences throughout Europe, and in this concert, he performs Paganini's devilishly difficult and flamboyant violin concerto no. 1 under the baton of chief conductor Vladimir Ziva.

The concert is sponsored by Danfoss.

On both concert nights, a free concert introduction will be arranged. The introduction starts at 7 PM both nights; signs will be posted at the concert venue. The introduction is given by Morten Leth Jacobsen, informations manager at South Jutland Symphony Orchestra.
